Do you know the solar panels?

SMT: English abbreviation of Surface Mount Technology, Chinese means Surface Mount welding (Mount) Technology, the technology of welding electronic parts to the surface of circuit board. SMD: English abbreviation of Surface Mount Device, Chinese is Surface Mount welding parts, generally refers to the use of SMT technology of electronic parts. Usually, SMT and SMD can be used together, but there are some differences (which I won't go into here). Normal solar panel process: sorting - slicing - breaking - series welding - welding - lamination - lamination - cleaning - packaging. And SMT patch solar panel process: sorting - slice - breaking -SMT patch - lamination - lamination - cleaning - packaging. SMT technology was not originally used for solar panels, but for soldering electronic parts to circuit boards. SMT solar panel is also the use of solder paste printing in the need to solder the solar cell pad, and then put on the battery. solder foot should be just placed in the solder paste position, let solder paste after reflow welding, furnace high temperature to high solder paste melting point (remember not too high, to avoid burning the circuit board). The furnace will melt the solder paste at high temperature, and after cooling, the solder paste becomes solid (this principle is a bit like EVA into the laminator before the solid, laminate through high temperature, into liquid, and finally become solid after lamination), you can directly solder the solar cell on the PCB board. 3c839fe27ce3f15fae86b9b6946ff3c2Generally, the solar cells used for SMT patches are Sunpower solar cells or wholesale solar cable, because the positive and negative poles of Sunpower solar cells are on the back, and the distance between the positive and negative poles of each group is small, which can be cut into smaller size solar cells. At present, the finished size of small solar panels made by our company with Sunpower is 27*11mm. This also highlights the advantages of using SMT patches: can meet the requirements of the production of smaller electronic products, so that the product is lighter, more compact. Suitable for mass production, batch operation, so that the quality is more stable. Reduced production costs, reduced work procedures, no need for string welding and welding. It has a wider range of applications, including military applications (sights), forest cameras, GPS locators. But there are also certain drawbacks: it can be made with limited power, which is more influenced by the machine, mainly for low-power solar panels.
