Misunderstanding of fog lamp: When many people modify fog lamps, they strive to make the brightness of fog lamps higher, but to what extent may be an unclear problem; when most people retrofit fog lamps, they install low-temperature lamps, such as Goldeneye, which was very hot a few years ago. The higher the intensity of fog lamps, the stronger the reflection effect of water fog, which is why when we turn on the headlights on foggy days, it is like shining into an invisible wall, and it is worse than the real wall line of sight, because fog has a mask reflection effect. In this case, it doesn't matter how low the temperature of your fog lamp is, and it doesn't matter if it shines through the mist and onto the road, because your view is blocked by the mist, and the best your golden eye can do is dye the mist yellow, and then the other person finds a yellow moving in the middle of the white fog -- that's you. But on foggy days, whether yellow, red or any other color, it can be seen with a very limited range, which is not much different when the relative speed (at 36km/h+36km/h, which is about the limit of human running speed and is already extremely moderate for cars) easily exceeds 70 km/h. The only way to see the road in heavy fog is to turn off all the headlights. It is easier to see the reflective belt of the road with the faint light of a wide indicator lamp. Auxiliary lamp problems and solutions: illegal modification When installing auxiliary lights, we must pay attention to the legalization of refit; although modifying the product itself and using it are two different things; for example, I installed some products but did not use them. In fact, this is simply a problem with my private property placement. As a kind of commodity, auxiliary lamps can exist legally, and my purchase of them is also a legal transaction. In theory, only when the auxiliary light is improperly used, it may be illegal because of improper behavior. For example, when the street is opened in the urban area, it gravely affects the line of sight of the other party and leads to driving safety, then this behavior constitutes an illegal; but if I use it in a no-man's land because it doesn't interfere with the safety of a public road, then it's a reasonable and legal use. Of course, if you install lights (or alter the appearance of the vehicle) that do not meet the requirements of the regulations, it is also an illegal act, and you can be prosecuted for not using the illegal lighting premise. But the problem is that in most cases some local law enforcement agencies do not distinguish with you so detailed, and auxiliary lights are particularly unpopular with the police, so the so-called "illegal modification" will indeed bring us a lot of trouble. These troubles numerous times are not limited to personal property losses. Sometimes travel mood affected is more vital; so in the installation of auxiliary lamp products, we must pay attention to rationalization, as far as possible to avoid trouble when traveling because of them. A few things about auxiliary lights: lux (legal symbol lx) is a unit of Illuminance. LED strip auxiliary light The advantage of LED is that it can be made to any length to accommodate additional LED luminous body, its higher brightness, can be designed at the same time to take into account the range and width of the reflective bowl; the disadvantage is that the power consumption is relatively large, and the heat of the whole lamp is also large, so a large area of heat sink is needed for auxiliary heat dissipation.
